The History of A-1 Service Center & Towing, Inc.
A-1 Service Center Inc., a family owned and operated automotive repair facility, opened its doors in October of 1982. The Staff consisted of one technician and a combination office manager/service writer and technician. The following ten years were spent upgrading the facility and equipment in order to provide customers with the latest technology for the diagnosis and repair of their vehicles.
In mid 1993, Mark Daab, a son of the owner, returned to A-1 after a tour of duty with the U.S. Army. He brought with him the knowledge to further enhance the business through computerization of the Service Department.
The remaining years have been spent refining our business practices by our association with industry-recognized affiliates. These include; Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), a national technician certification program, and the Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS), which ensures our environment remains safe form discharge of ozone depleting refrigerant gas while servicing automotive A/C systems. A-1 Service Center is also an authorized NAPA Auto Care Center. Under this program we operate by a straight code of professional ethics and provide a nation-wide warranty program for our service customers.
Finally, our advertising approach has been upgraded to include Print, Local Cable Television, Radio, Direct Mailings, and now the Internet.
The quality of our service and management professionals has always been and will continue to be the A-1 Service Center difference. We pride ourselves on conducting our business with the highest standards of integrity, complying with not only to the letter of the law governing the service, but with its spirit as well.
